Malta, 5 days – Winter

MALTA: THE ISLAND THAT HAS IT ALL…ENTERTAINMENT, BEAUTY…. AND, OF COURSE, HISTORY!!!

Influenced by various cultures, Malta has many “faces”, but a single identity created through a rich history and reflected in its megalithic monuments, medieval cities, but also its traditional villages, where residents never miss an opportunity to have fun on any occasion. From its North African and Arabic influences, to its Sicilian-inspired cuisine, Malta is a microcosm of the Mediterranean. Few European countries have such a condensed history, architecture and so many beautiful beaches in such a small area. Although small, this island country has a long and rich history, while it seems to have been inhabited since the Neolithic era (4th millennium BC). Its strategic position and its ports in the middle of the Mediterranean, attracted over the years Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Normans, Crusaders, French and finally the British, with the colonial period lasting until 1964. It has received many influences in its long history, but there is no doubt, Malta is not just a Roman conquest or a remnant of British colonialism. This island nation has a peculiar character that impresses. From the prehistoric temples and baroque architecture of the capital Valletta, to the cuisine and festivities, this nation exudes a unique charm….!!!
