Day 1: ATHENS – PRAGUE – OLD TOWN TOUR

Meet at the airport and depart for Prague. Upon arrival in the “Golden City,” meet our local guide, board the bus, and begin our tour through the medieval streets of the “Royal Route” to the Old Town Square, with the Town Hall and its famous Astronomical Clock, and the “Procession of the Apostles” as well as the square at the historic center of Prague. We will then move towards the Powder Tower and the beautiful Art Nouveau Town Hall, Obecni Dum. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. In the evening, enjoy traditional Czech beer halls with local specialties and home-brewed beer or visit the famous jazz clubs of Prague.

Day 2: PRAGUE – CASTLE DISTRICT TOUR – MALA STRANA – CHARLES BRIDGE

Μετά το πρόγευμα στο ξενοδοχείο θα μεταφερθούμε στο κέντρο του νησιού.
Breakfast at the hotel and our tour begins with the Strahov Monastery and Loreto, two of Prague’s most significant monuments. We then head to the enchanting Castle District, spread over the Mala Strana hill, ending at the imposing St. Vitus Cathedral and the Chapel of St. Wenceslas, the country’s patron saint, the Church of St. George, the palaces where the Dukes and Kings of Bohemia lived, the Dalibor Tower, and the “Golden Lane,” which housed alchemists in the 16th and 17th centuries. The lane consists of small, colorful houses, repainted in bright colors in the 1950s. Many houses are now souvenir shops, and there is a medieval armory museum inside the former 14th-century fortifications. Number 22 belonged to the sister of author Franz Kafka, who used this house for writing for about two years. We will then descend to the “Little Quarter” (Mala Strana), one of Prague’s oldest historic districts, and walk across the picturesque Gothic Charles Bridge, a city landmark. After the tour, free time is available. In the evening, we suggest attending a “Black Light Theatre” performance, opera, etc., after all, you are in the city where the idea of Black Light Theatre was born!

Day 3: PRAGUE – FREE DAY – EXCURSION TO DRESDEN (OPTIONAL)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a free day. You can explore the city, shop, or take the opportunity to visit the city that is the cultural capital of Germany. The first impression when arriving in Dresden can be summed up in one word: “awe.” Especially if the weather is sufficiently gloomy, the view of Dresden is enough to immediately captivate the visitor and envelop them in its magic. At Theaterplatz, the central square, stands the Semperoper opera house. In Zwinger, a multi-museum with works by Raphael, you will also find paintings by Giorgione, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Rubens, and even one by El Greco. Admire the porcelain mural of all the Saxon rulers, including Augustus the Great. The large church in the square is the so-called Frauenkirche (Frauen = women), which constituted and still constitutes the symbol of the city. Augustus’ Bridge is worth the walk to the Golden Knight monument. In the afternoon, we return to Prague. Evening free. Dinner or drinks by the clock.

Day 4: PRAGUE – CESKY KRUMLOV (OPTIONAL EXCURSION)

Breakfast, followed by an optional departure for the second most beautiful city after Prague, “Cesky Krumlov.” Torrents of the Moldau River run through many parts of this medieval city, which, like Prague, is on the UNESCO list of preserved cities. It is a cultural gem with particularly well-preserved Gothic and Renaissance buildings, churches, and narrow streets. The walls of Krumlov enclose treasures of unique architectural and cultural value, such as the “Hidden Bridge.” Visit the city’s castle and admire the panoramic view from above. Return to Prague and free time.

Day 5: PRAGUE – KARLOVY VARY – FLIGHT TO ATHENS

After breakfast, we will depart from Prague, heading to the famous spa town of Karlovy Vary in Western Bohemia, known for its thermal springs. In the 14th century, it was named the “Royal City” by Emperor Charles IV and has since become a meeting place for prominent figures in literature, the arts, and politics. Walking along the main pedestrian street next to the Tepla River, you will understand why Goethe, Schiller, Beethoven, Bach, the Tsar of Russia, and others walked the same path. Free time. In the afternoon, we depart for the airport for the return flight with the best impressions.
