SERVICE CHARGES/TRIPS
Tips are an integral part of the cruise and are included in the price of the cruise.
New cruise passenger fee for visitors to Greek ports
As of July 21, 2025 , the Greek Government will implement a new mandatory cruise passenger fee for all visitors calling at Greek ports, as part of its Sustainable Tourism Program. This fee, similar to the one already in force for hotels and other forms of accommodation, aims to strengthen local infrastructure, promote sustainable tourism and improve the visitor experience.
It is noted that this fee is mandatory and applies to all passengers, regardless of age, who approach a Greek port - either as a port of call or as a port of disembarkation.
The fee is set as follows, depending on the period:
- June 1 – September 30, 2025
• 20 euros per passenger for the ports of Mykonos and Santorini
• 5 euros per passenger for all other Greek ports - October 1 – October 31, 2025 / April 1 – May 31, 2026
• 12 euros per passenger for the ports of Mykonos and Santorini
• 3 euros per passenger for all other Greek ports - November 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026
• 4 euros per passenger for the ports of Mykonos and Santorini
• 1 euro per passenger for all other Greek ports
For your convenience, Celestyal Cruises will pay this fee directly to the Greek authorities on your behalf. The relevant amount will be debited from your onboard account the evening before each Greek port call. If you choose to remain on board and not disembark, the fee will be automatically deducted from your account within 24 hours.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
For cruises up to 7 nights, a deposit of €250 per cabin and €500 per suite is required and payment is due 60 days before the cruise departure.
For cruises of 8 nights and more, a deposit of €500 per cabin and €500 per suite is required and payment is due 60 days before the cruise departure.
For reservations made within a period of less than 60 days, immediate payment is required.
To complete the reservation and in accordance with the company's policy, it is necessary to provide the full details of all passengers traveling as indicated on the passport or ID card depending on the cruise you have chosen (Name, Date and Place of Birth, Date of Issue and Expiration, Issuing Authority).
CHILDREN TRAVELING WITH PARENTS/GUARDIANS/RELATIVES
Children who do not have an ID and are traveling with both their parents need a valid passport.
Children who have a police ID and are with both of their parents travel normally.
Children accompanied by one parent must have the written consent of the other parent to be able to travel (in addition to the above documents).
Children traveling with other relatives must have the written consent of both parents in order to travel (in addition to the above documents).
