Day 1 - Departure from Greece

Gathering at Athens' Eleftherios Venizelos Airport late in the morning and departure for the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, with a stopover.
Day 2 – Arrival in Hanoi and afternoon tour

Welcome to Vietnam. Upon arrival, after collecting our bags and passing through immigration, we will meet our guide/escort for transfer and check-in at our hotel! Early in the afternoon we will start our first exploration of Hanoi, the thousand-year-old capital. First stop is the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (exterior) and the Presidential Palace, we can learn about his great life and great value. Then, we have a short transfer to the Temple of Literature – the first University of Vietnam and one of the many temples in Vietnam dedicated to Confucius and other sages and scholars. Then we will take a short walk to explore the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. The tour ends at the Water Puppet Theatre where we will watch the show with the colorful traditional puppets that eloquently present the rural life in Vietnam that dominated until a few years ago and still characterizes the countryside! Overnight at your hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3 Full-day trip to Ninh Binh

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart with our guide for a journey of approximately 100 kilometers (2.5 hours) to Ninh Binh. Our first stop is the Trang An River. We will board a traditional Sampan boat that gently sails through numerous breathtaking caves and enjoy the stunning views on both sides of the river. During the two-hour boat trip, we may see several mountain goats jumping from one cliff to the other. In the afternoon, we have a short transfer to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 9th century. Here we will tour the cultural attractions while the guide will give us a glimpse into the stories of ancient kings. We conclude the tour and begin the return journey to Hanoi. Overnight at our hotel in Hanoi.
Day 4 Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Overnight on a boat

Breakfast and departure from our room early to meet our guide for the transfer to Ha Long Bay. After completing the baggage check-in process in the waiting lounge, you will be transferred by a support boat to the cruise ship. The cruise manager will brief us on security and present the itinerary while we enjoy our welcome drink. Lunch is served at the restaurant. The cruise stops at the “Bo Nau” cave and then we are transferred by the support boats to the “Sung Sot” cave. Leaving the “Sung sot” cave, we continue towards Titov Island which was named after “Uncle Ho” himself (Ho Chi Minh). Here during the stop we will enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach or climbing the Rock steps at the top of the island. Return to the main ship for dinner and relaxation.
Day 5 Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

For those who wish, we can participate in a 30-minute Tai-Chi exercise on the open deck before breakfast at the restaurant. Then, we can visit the "Luon" cave - one of the caves that host the beautiful endemic vegetation of Halong Bay. You can choose how to discover it: by free kayak or traditional woven (bamboo) boat operated by a local boatman. After that, we will return to the cruise, relax and pack our luggage. Leave your luggage outside the door. The crew will collect it and pack it at the pier. We can enjoy a buffet brunch at the restaurant after check-out while we sail to the port. Our guide will pick us up and transfer us back to our hotel in Hanoi. The evening is free for shopping and relaxation.
Day 6 Hanoi – Da Nang – Hoi An tour

Breakfast at our hotel and transfer to the airport for our flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, our people will warmly welcome you and transfer us to your hotel for a short rest. At 2:00 PM, we have a short drive to the ancient town of Hoi An, and then we will visit the historic Coconut Forest and the canals of Bay Mau, the historic wetland that was the base for the heroes of the resistance period against the French and Americans (with coconut shell weapons!!!), we will enjoy the fresh air and be challenged in the peculiar handling of the round basket boat used by the locals. After that, we start the walking tour through the quiet streets of the enchanting Hoi An. The narrow alleys are ideal for a walking tour to visit the old merchant house with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture, the Hoi An Museum, the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Church with exquisite wood carvings and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. Around 8:00 PM, we complete the tour and return to our hotel.
Day 7: HUE (Imperial Tomb - Forbidden City) - Hoi An

Breakfast at our hotel, meet our guide and transfer to nearby Hue. Our adventure begins with a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the city. Breathe in the refreshing air of the Perfume River while enjoying the peaceful scenery. Then, explore the history at the Citadel, the former royal residence. After lunch and a short relaxation break at a local restaurant (own expense), we continue our visits to the magnificent Khai Dinh Tomb and the majestic Minh Mang Tomb. We complete the tour and transfer back to our hotel. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 8 Ba Na Hills and the Golden Hand Bridge

After breakfast at the hotel we meet our guide and transfer to Ba Na Hills to discover this beautiful place in Da Nang city. We will take a cable car to the top of the mountain. We start the visit to Ba Na Hill with many different attractions: Cable car, Debay & Le Jardin D'Amour ancient wine cellar, Linh Ung pagoda, Thich Ca Buddhist statue, etc. In the afternoon we continue by participating in activities and games at Fantasy Park. Later we walk to the top at a height of 1487m – the highest of Ba Na mountain, visit the Bell Tower, Nghinh Phong and the Golden Bridge, to take beautiful photos of the mountain and Da Nang city. We complete today's tour and return to our hotel. Overnight in Danang. Note: The Wax Museum, the cotton animal game and the carnival at Fantasy Park are not included in the offer, participation in them will be by issuing tickets on site, the remaining activities and games are included in our admission.
Day 9 Da Nang Free day

Day 10 Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) tour

Depending on the domestic flight schedule, our driver will pick us up from your hotel for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Our people will welcome us at the airport and take us to the hotel to drop off your luggage and relax for a while. Rest until early afternoon, when we will meet our guide and begin the tour with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which has an extensive collection of exhibits, such as weapons, photographs and documentation on the Vietnam wars with the French and the Americans, we will also see the "Reunification Palace", the residence of the President of South Vietnam and a symbol of the reign of the Southern Command until the end of April 1975. We continue towards the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office which are famous symbols of Ho Chi Minh City. After that we will visit Ben Thanh Market, where everything and anything can be sold. We complete the tour and transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11 Mekong River Delta

We depart Ho Chi Minh City early in the morning after breakfast for the approximately 3-hour journey to the Mekong Delta. We drift along the busy branches of the Mekong and its quiet canals. We visit an island orchard and experience the daily life of the farmers here. We sample exotic seasonal fruits unique to the region and explore the quiet island on foot. After lunch, we will take a local boat that cruises along the river, stopping to learn how to make coconut candy. Finally, we will visit a bee farm to taste local honey with rice wine or tea, and then return to Ho Chi Minh City. We conclude the tour and are free to explore the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12 Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels

After breakfast at the hotel we depart with our guide to Cu Chi. We observe the landscape as it changes from city views to rice fields, villagers drying rice noodles on the side of the road and other scenes typical of southern Vietnam. The Cu Chi Tunnels, consisting of an incredible network of underground tunnels built by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. We begin the visit with the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnel. Here, it is easy to imagine what it was like to be a guerrilla with Russian Carbine and AK 47 rifles on display as souvenirs of the epic Vietnamese resistance. We then take time to explore the remaining areas and the tunnel system which includes special living areas with kitchens and bedrooms side by side with other war facilities such as weapons factories, hospitals and command centers helping whoever lived in the tunnels meet their basic needs. In addition, there are also many hidden and dangerous traps inside the labyrinthine tunnels for security reasons during the war. We try some of the special tea and cassava (food of the guerrillas during the war). In the afternoon return to Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is free, with many different entertainment suggestions from our tour guide. After all, it is our last night in Vietnam.
Day 13 Departure for the return to Greece

Today is our last day in Vietnam. Enjoy your free time for shopping, relaxing and souvenirs. Depending on your flight schedule in the late afternoon, we will transfer you to the airport for your return flight.
