NETHERLANDS – BELGIUM – SUMMER 2025

Meeting at the airport and flight with AEGEAN to the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam. Arrival, first information to identify our destination on the way for our panoramic tour. A city with a completely different urban everyday life where the unique canals, old mansions and the multiculturalism of its inhabitants make it one of the most charming metropolises in Europe. On our route, the wonderful and green zone along the Amstel River with one of the most beautiful windmills in the area as well as the impressive Arena stadium. Breakfast. Meeting at the reception. Today, crossing the classic landscape of the Dutch countryside, we will head to the picturesque fishing village of Volendam. Upon arrival, our walk along the waterfront next to the colorful folk art shops will reveal to us all those places where in the old days local products, fish, milk and cheese were transported to the markets of Amsterdam. The experience of life in the Dutch countryside is completed with a visit to a local cheese farm where we will learn about the method of making the famous Dutch cheeses. We continue by returning to the capital and finish at the Museum Square in the city center. There we will visit, with free admission, the oldest diamond house in the world, “House of Coster Diamonds”. The House that has "dressed" royal dynasties for centuries and we will learn about the production process of the shining precious stones from their initial to their final stage. Then the day continues at your disposal. Amsterdam is famous for its markets and the abundance of products they offer. Visit Kalverstraat, or PC Hooftstraat which hosts the world's fashion houses and walk in the Jordaan area with the famous "Nine Streets" (9 Straatjes). Amsterdam is a city tied to the water with a fully pedestrianized center and incredibly beautiful waterways. Enjoy the City! Overnight.

Breakfast. Meeting at the reception, departure with our luggage and direction to the Kingdom of Belgium. Crossing the Dutch hinterland we will get to know the major Dutch cities of Rotterdam and The Hague as well as the historic medieval city of Delft. We continue to Brussels, a city with a glorious past in which today the heart of Europe beats. Upon arrival we will discover the magic that surrounds it and admire the historical monuments while crossing its busy center in a panoramic way. At the entrance to the city the impressive landmark Atomium, symbol of Brussels. On our way, beautiful squares, impressive buildings, cobblestone neighborhoods emerge, along with the modern structures that host the European institutions and the European Parliament. In the afternoon, on our walking tour of the center of Brussels, we will walk through the central Grand Place, admiring the elegant City Hall and the beautiful and brightly decorated guild buildings that give an unprecedented aura to the area. In the evening, do not forget to try some local delicacies and some of the countless beer labels that Belgium is particularly famous for in traditional restaurants! Overnight stay

Morning departure for our full-day excursion to Ghent and Lille Lille (France), capital of French Flanders and the fourth largest metropolitan area in France. A city with such a rich history and undeniable beauty that it is no coincidence that it is nicknamed the “Paris of the North”. The colorful houses and impressive buildings such as the neoclassical Opera building give the characteristic French architectural touch. Ghent, a historic city that was a major trading port in the Middle Ages and is today one of the largest and most vibrant cities in Belgium. In its historic center next to its old port, medieval landmarks dominate, the imposing Command, the church of St. Nicholas and the Gothic Cathedral of St. Boniface/Saint Bavo. Overnight.

Breakfast. Free day and opportunity for an enjoyable walk in the Capital of Europe. The central square Grand Place, with its magnificent buildings of unique value and beauty, the European Quarter, with its modern structures that host European Union services, as well as the central shopping pedestrian street Rue Neuve (near Grand Place), along with the cobblestone streets with their abundance of people, commercial and traditional shops, beer halls, restaurants and chocolate boutiques await us! A walk in the "Upper Town" such as "Avenue Louise" and "Boulevard de Waterloo" with its branded stores, or a visit to "Sablon" square or "Sainte Catherine" with the picturesque shops of the area will fill us with beautiful images. Don't forget to try the traditional bistros, along with some local delicacies and some of the countless beer labels that Belgium is particularly famous for! Overnight stay.

Breakfast. Meeting at the reception and departure with our luggage towards the magical city of Bruges. A city of jewels, where time seems to have stopped in the Middle Ages. Our walk through the picturesque alleys surrounded by the old buildings and canals of the golden age, will bring to life in our eyes medieval images from when the city was the richest commercial port in the world. The central square, the Governor's Office, the lake of love, the beautiful scattered churches, the first hospital in Europe and the old waterways with the traditional houses on the banks and the low stone bridges, testify to the city's intense past. Then we are transferred to the airport for our return flight.
