itinerary

pricelist

1st day: Athens – overnight stay Norwegian province e.g. Hemsedal, DINNER GIFT And the journey begins from the fairytale Norwegian province

+ -

Arrival at Oslo airport, boarding the coach, and our enjoyable journey to the dreamland of Norway begins.

In the hinterland that we will explore first, Gull, Geilo and Hemsendaal are ideal vacation spots all year round, with ski resorts, cable cars, alpine slopes of varying lengths and levels of difficulty, and cross-country ski runs.

Arrival in the afternoon at our hotel and time at our disposal for a walk in nature. DINNER in the evening at the hotel.

Day 2: Norwegian countryside (Flam/Myrdal train) - Bergen Mountain or sea? Of course, both!

+ -

From Flam, where we will initially be transferred, we will board the train for the exceptional route to Myrdal station and then to Vos. It is no coincidence that the railway route from Flam to Myrdal station is ranked among the most beautiful not only in Norway, but also in the entire European continent!

Early afternoon arrival in picturesque Bergen. Ocean, fjord, lakes, greenery, colorful houses on the hills, traditional harbor, mild climate, liveliness and quality of life. Bergen combines all of this on its picturesque waterfront, where we begin our tour.

One of the city's most recognizable landmarks, the Bryggen waterfront is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and for good reason. The colorful wooden houses that were once fish warehouses for Hanseatic merchants now house cafes and restaurants, giving the small city a natural continuity and a second life adapted to today.

Just five minutes from Bryggen, you'll find one of the most famous open-air fish markets in northern Europe. At Fisketorget you'll see generously sized salmon and a huge variety of seafood, which you can also sample in the many gastronomic options in the surrounding shops.

The evening promises to be ideal for exploring the city center with its countless alleys that frame the octagonal Lille Lungegårdsvann lake, walking among the wooden houses of the seaside district of Bryggen, and visiting the picturesque fish market.

Day 3: Bergen (Sognefjorden Cruise, Briksdalbre Glacier with Troll Cars) - Fjord Cruise (in the fjords) I'll take you!

+ -

The “menu of the day” includes deep canyons, towering waterfalls, eternal glaciers, mountain farms and rotating tunnels. Due to their rarity, the eyes greedily suck in these images.

Arriving in Gundvangen, we board a special ship for an exciting cruise on the Sognefjord, to the small port of Flåm.

The Sognefjord, the largest and widest in Norway with a total length of 220 km, justifies its nickname, as the "king of fjords". We will enjoy the view that stretches to the eye with the vastness of the horizon and the majesty of nature will be many. Images of indescribable beauty that will remain indelibly engraved in the memory, redefining what we know so far about the treasures of the Old Continent.

We continue to Jostendalsbrunnen National Park, where the Briksdalsbrunnen glacier dominates with the lake of the same name, which we will approach with specially designed vehicles that go by the imaginative name troll cars!

Arrival late in the afternoon at our hotel in the fjord area.

Day 4: Fjords (Geirangerfjord Cruise, Dalsníba Panorama) – Aalesund Spectacular views of the fjords and Scandinavian zen

+ -

By now you will have already understood that on this trip we will approach extreme natural beauties and phenomena that we normally could not even imagine.

In order to reach Geiranger, we will need a beautiful road trip and a short ferryboat crossing. And now, the best part! On the cruise - lasting about an hour - that follows, we will enjoy the narrow strip of sea surrounded by steep, high mountains, wild waterfalls and pristine nature. Images of breathtaking natural beauty that, combined with the blue waters of the fjord, create an amazing panorama!

With great experiences following one after another, we cross the impressive mountain road that leads to Dalsnibba. From here we will enjoy the view of the most beautiful fjord, not only in Norway, but also in the entire Northern Hemisphere.

The afternoon will find us in the magnificent Aalesund, Norway's largest fishing center and port. Built on seven small islands, the city with its characteristic Art Nouveau buildings stands out for the unparalleled architecture of its historic center, but also for its truly calm atmosphere that overflows with Scandinavian zen.

Day 5: Aalesund (Kristiansund, Atlantic Road) – Trondheim On the road that flies over the ocean

+ -

Sea, imposing mountains, impressive fjords and sea inlets that penetrate the hinterland, create a natural canvas of indescribable beauty.

Upon arriving in Vestnes we will board the ferryboat that will take us to the opposite coast. However, to reach Molde we will cross the point where 4 different fjords (Mid, Lang, Fanne & Romsdals) join, which offers us an impressive sight to say the least.

Continuing along the famous "Atlantic Road", we will confirm why it is considered one of the most famous road routes on the European continent. Since its inauguration in 1989, the road has connected Kristiansund with the port city of Molde. However, it is somewhere around the eighth kilometer that, crossing 12 bridges over successive islands, it seems to float above the ocean, offering the traveler an unparalleled road travel experience!

Built on three small islands, the coastal city of Kristiansund is our next stop and welcomes us hospitable and filled with that wonderful Scandinavian tranquility, pleasantly "grounding" us after the previous experience.

Then we will approach Trondheim, the historic city and first capital of the country, built on the banks of the fjord of the same name. With more than 30,000 students and pupils, the city's nightlife is full of carefreeness and style. In the picturesque bars and restaurants you will have the opportunity to try Norwegian beer and Akvavit, as well as creative dishes of "twisted" Scandinavian cuisine that - to use gastronomic neologisms - is based on, but at the same time "deconstructs" the salmon and cod of the wild sea.

Day 6: Trondheim (Lillehammer) - Hamar Walks and selfies with King Olaf

+ -

King Olaf Tryggvason gazes at the center of the harbor square. To be precise, what he seems to be gazing at is the statue of the city's former founder and current meeting point for the residents. Time for a selfie at the monument to the king who brought Christianity to distant Norway and was canonized as the first Saint of Norwegian Christianity. In fact, the imposing and all-important Nidaros Cathedral, which we will visit later, houses his funerary monument.

On an atmospheric route, we will cross the medieval bridge over the Nidelva River. The old town with its traditional wooden buildings awaits us.

In contrast to this picturesqueness, the main building of NTNU (Norwegian University of Science & Technology), as well as important buildings of the modern city center, seal our acquaintance with the impressive metropolis.

We continue to the picturesque city of Lillehammer. The city center is a collection of late 19th century wooden houses, located in a picturesque location overlooking the northern part of Lake Mesa and the Løggen River, surrounded by mountains. Arrival then at our hotel in Hamar.

Day 7: Hamar – Oslo Architectural avant-garde, multinational character and green development

+ -

Morning departure for the last stop of our journey, the capital Oslo, with the city tour starting immediately.

The newly established and postmodern area of Barcode impresses with its skyscrapers and futuristic appearance, while always at the center of attention is the Opera House, whose shape resembles an iceberg, confirming that we are in a capital where architecture and design listen to the past and look to the future!! At the center, the city's recent and much-discussed building, the Museum of the national painter Edvard Munch, with its clean minimalist lines and characteristic structure, is now one of the symbols that flirt with the photographic lens!

We will begin our walking tour on the bustling central pedestrian street Karl Johan Gate and admire the neoclassical building of the central railway station.

station, we will head towards the cathedral with its characteristic square and the monument to the victims of the Breivik terrorist attack. On our way we will encounter the parliament, the university, the Akershus fortress with the square of the so-called Christiania, the National Theater, the former Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Royal Palace of Norway. Examples of architecture that each time impress with special art nouveau details and a pretentious national-romantic character.

Finally, we will end up at the City Hall, famous and much photographed due to the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prizes.. thus closing our tour of areas that are a tourist attraction, but also a challenge for history lovers and architecture fanatics!!

The continuation is extremely impressive, since our visit to the famous Frogner Park will fascinate us! The unique open-air sculpture museum is an open exhibition complex in which the dramatic compositions of the great Norwegian sculptor, Vigeland, were masterfully placed. Clusters of sculptures and statues, female and male figures..childish and elderly figures, remain alive and expressive in the eyes of passers-by, demonstrating the supremacy of nature and the eternal "Cycle of Life". The central white granite monolith with the 121 naked figures of people of all ages struggling to reach the top, a work of unique value and symbolism of modern social structures!

We return to the center of Oslo and after checking in to our hotel, free time for a walk and lunch at the bustling Aker Brygge, or in some of the well-known cozy or more aristocratic neighborhoods offered in the city.
