STRASBOURG – FAIRYTALE ALSACE EASTER 2025 - JUNE 2025

Meeting at the airport and flight to Frankfurt. Arrival and departure for Heidelberg, where we will have the opportunity to walk in the pedestrianized historic center, with the interesting Jesuit and Holy Spirit churches. Hauptstrasse, the backbone of Heidelberg, is the longest pedestrian street in Europe, perhaps even in the world, with a length of 1.6 kilometers. It passes through the central square (with the magnificent building of the Town Hall and the famous, Gothic-style Church of the Holy Spirit), the Ritter Hotel of 1592 (one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture) and dozens of wonderful shops, from beer halls and cafes to pastry shops, antique shops and shops with original souvenirs. Free time and then transfer and check-in at our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and panoramic tour of the capital of the European Parliament, which is built on the west bank of the Rhine and crossed by the Ile River. We will be transferred to the historic center of the city where the imposing Cathedral dominates with a height of 142 m. which is one of the 6 highest in the world, with the Astronomical Clock inside. We will wander in the area with the picturesque narrow streets known as "Little France" with the wooden houses, the countless bridges and the flower-filled balconies. Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today the day is dedicated to the beautiful villages of Alsace such as Ribeauville, Riquewihr and Eguisheim and of course Colmar, the jewel of Alsace located on the wine route and famous for its wines. We will tour its historic center characterized by traditional houses built on the banks of the Lauch River. We will see the Town Hall, the Cathedral dedicated to Saint Martin as well as small beautiful squares with interesting outdoor markets. Free time in the most beautiful part of the old town, Little Venice characterized by canals, ornate bridges, aristocratic cafes and restaurants. Do not forget to take a picture with the Pfister House in the background, which was built around 1537 and is an example of German Renaissance architecture. Return late in the afternoon to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we depart by road for Germany and the famous Black Forest region. Our first stop will be in the greenest city in Europe, Freiburg, the most beloved city of Nikos Kazantzakis. After touring and getting to know the beautiful German city, we depart for the outskirts of the Black Forest and Lake Titisee, crossing the "Black Forest" and the "Clock Road (numerous cuckoo clock workshops)". Return to Strasbourg. Overnight.
