TANZANIA & ZANZIBAR SAFARI – SUMMER & AUTUMN 2025

Early morning flight to Zanzibar, visa processing and midday arrival at our hotel. Check-in and time to relax. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

We start to get to know the most representative attractions of the island, starting from the famous Jozani Park, known for the rare red colobus monkey and the Zanzibar leopard. We will visit the jungle with the long-lived trees and having received all the information about the flora and fauna of the area, we will continue to the capital of Zanzibar (Stone Town), to learn about the rich cultural heritage of the island, where Arab, Indian, Persian and European influences are combined with the local African tradition. Historic buildings with ornately carved wooden doors shaded by balconies and narrow streets invite visitors to get lost in this fascinating and unique location (a world heritage site). Listen to the fascinating stories of Princess Salme, Bulsara and Vi Kidu and follow in the footsteps of the past. Then, we will visit the famous Darajani city market, the former slave market, the Forodhani Gardens with a view of the House of Wonders, the Sultan's Palace and the old fort. For those who want to buy souvenirs, the guide will show you art and craft shops. The rest of the afternoon until early evening will be at your disposal to see the beach events up close with the local acrobats who perform with dances and songs. The sunset harmonizes with the natural environment, the palm trees and the ornate boats and the background music from the bars completes the spectacle! Return to our hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Free days to enjoy the facilities of your unit, swim on the shore or take an optional cruise to the archipelago and visit the former prison island.

White sand beaches, snorkeling in coral reefs and crystal clear waters & a seafood barbecue lunch, are the best things to experience on the famous Blue Safari. Combine different relaxing activities and treat yourself to a day in paradise. The safari continues on Кwаlе Island where you can visit the mysterious Baobab tree and enjoy swimming on the island's famous beach that will remind you of the Maldives. Return to your hotel. We suggest having fun with electronic music and hamburgers at the cool B4 beach club.

Free day for our usual swimming. In the afternoon we have organized you to participate in a famous party, on a beach of the island. Relax, enjoy the sunset, try one of the cocktails of the bar and have fun with the loud music and dancing of the Beach Bar!

Next, we will be transferred to the airport, where we will have the flight that will connect us from Zanzibar – directly to the Nyerere Park. Check-in at the lodges, breakfast and time to rest. After lunch, we will take another dimension to the safari, with an exciting afternoon/night game viewing. Here, the animals are best observed at these times, because they prefer the cool night hours to move, while for hunters with sharp vision, it is considered the best for ambushing prey with limited vision. And the game of ambush and survival begins!!!

After breakfast and having rested well, we will follow the flexible advice of our experienced guide, who will take us to the best observatories in the park. During the Safari we will stop at places where Elephants usually eat whole trees and bathe, buffaloes run and antelopes and zebras sunbathe. The experience is unique and this full-day safari will satisfy even the most demanding of the species in the largest park in the world. After lunch and observing the animals, we will continue with a relaxing boat ride on the Rufiji River to enjoy the hippos and crocodiles in their natural environment and to admire the male yellow birds that weave their nests on the branches and give their performance to mate. Return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and having prepared our luggage, we will depart for Dar es Salaam International Airport, for our afternoon flight to Athens.
