VIENNA – PRAGUE 6 DAYS – JULY, AUGUST & SEPTEMBER

Meeting at the airport and flight to the capital of Austria, Vienna. Arrival and transfer to the hotel for room check-in. For the evening, accompanied by your Leader, we will have a first acquaintance with the Historical Center of the city.

After breakfast we will depart for the tour of the exterior of Schönbrunn Palace. We will visit the summer palace of Maria Theresa, which is considered equal to Versailles. Then we will tour the famous Ring boulevard, where we will admire the most important sights of Vienna, such as the Municipal Park, the Opera House, the Museum Square, the Franz Joseph Gate, the Parliament, the City Hall, the old Imperial Theater, the University and the Church of the Assumption, the Photif Kirche. Then we will end up at St. Stephen's Cathedral and we will wander through the historic district of the Greek community. Free time to walk along Kärderstrasse, enjoy a Viennese coffee at Café Motzart or a hot chocolate at the famous Sacher, one of the oldest and most famous pastry shops in the city.

Breakfast and transfer to the second most beautiful city after Prague, "Český Krumlov". Torrents of the Vltava River run through many parts of this medieval city, which, like Prague, is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is a cultural gem with its particularly well-preserved Gothic and Renaissance buildings, its churches and its narrow streets. The walls of Krumlov enclose treasures of special architectural and cultural value such as the "hidden bridge". Visit the city's castle and admire the panoramic view from above. Early in the afternoon we depart for Prague. Check-in at the hotel and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and our tour begins with the Strahov Monastery and Loretto, one of the most important monuments of Prague, then we head to the magnificent castle town, the Prague Acropolis, which spreads out on the hill of Mala Strana and we end up at the impressive Gothic church of St. Vitus and the ''basilica'' of St. George. We will continue with the ''Little Quarter'' (Mala Strana) one of the oldest historical districts in Prague. Then we will visit the imposing Baroque church of St. Nicholas, we will walk from the picturesque Gothic Charles Bridge through the medieval streets of the ''Royal Road'' to the Old Town Square, with the Town Hall and the famous astronomical clock and the ''Parade of the Apostles'' as well as to the square of the historic center of Prague. Afterwards, you are free for a walk in the city. For the evening we suggest you watch a performance of the "Black Theater", opera, etc., after all, you are in the city where the idea of ​​the Black Theater was born!

After breakfast, we will depart from Prague for the famous spa town of Karlovy Vary in Western Bohemia. Known for its thermal springs. In the 14th century, it was named the "Royal City" by Emperor Charles IV and since then it has been established as a meeting place for personalities of letters, arts and politics. Crossing the main pedestrian street next to the Tepla River, we understand why Goethe, Schiller, Beethoven, Bach, the Tsar of Russia, etc. walked the same street. Free time..
