1st day: ATHENS – BARCELONA

Flight from Athens to Barcelona. Arrival and departure directly for a first acquaintance with the city through a panoramic tour with our bus. We start from Montjuic and the Olympic Stadium and make a stop to enjoy an amazing panoramic view over the city, at the MNAC. Then we pass by Plaza España, Gran Via and the famous Passeig de Gracia with the Square of Discord where Gaudi's Casa Batlló is located and a little higher we will see the Casa Milá by the same architect. Then we continue towards the Olympic Port and Barceloneta where Port Vell is located, today's marina for luxury yachts. Arrival at the hotel and check in. Afternoon free. Our hotel is located in the heart of the city, so every day in our free time we will be able to explore it and walk or see places like the famous Ramblas or the Mercado de la Boqueria, as well as the Barcelona Cathedral. We can even go to the neighboring Born district in the evening where there are amazing little restaurants in its alleys.
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for our tour today. Today we will visit two characteristic examples of Catalan Modernism from its two most important exponents, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will start first from the Hospital de la Santa creu i Sant Pau by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, the largest complex of Catalan Modernist buildings that until a few years ago continued to operate as a hospital and is now in the process of renovation with most of the buildings already renovated. Then on foot and through Gaudi's avenue we will end up visiting Gaudi's masterpiece, which is still under construction but also functions as a temple and is open to visitors, the Sagrada Familia. Then we will start an optional tour of Antoni Gaudí's Park Guell, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984. Park Guell is the perfect example of the harmony of nature and architecture. From there we will head to the Arc de Triomf (Triumph Arch), which is one of the city's important attractions, and on foot we will enter and tour an equally important attraction, the Parc de la Ciutadella. A minimum of 20 participants are required for the optional tour to take place and the cost per person is €35, including entrance fees to Park Guell.
Day 3: BARCELONA - CHIRONA - FINGERES

Breakfast and we depart for the city of Girona where we will admire the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary and walk through the Jewish quarter of Coll, one of the best preserved in Europe, where the Sephardim, the Jews of Spain, lived until 1492! Girona with its river Onyar and the beautiful painted houses on the banks of the river that are reminiscent of Florence! And then departure for the birthplace of the great Catalan painter, Figueres! After a beautiful journey of almost 2 hours crossing forests of pine and oak trees we arrive at the theater museum of the eccentric painter Salvador Dali. The most visited museum in Catalonia and the third in all of Spain includes the largest collection of Dali's works in the world! In a dreamlike building we will admire paintings from the early years of his life until his death! Upon leaving the museum, also enjoy the permanent jewelry exhibition consisting of 37 unique pieces of jewelry designed by the multi-talented painter! After a coffee in the historic center of Figueres, return to Barcelona.
Day 4: BARCELONA - VALENCIA

After breakfast departure for the most typical Mediterranean city of Spain, Valencia. Capital of the Levante, as the eastern side of Spain is called in Spanish. Arrival early in the afternoon and we will take a panoramic tour of the city, which carries the architectural and cultural tradition of its thousand years of history. Today Valencia could be described as one of the most modern cities in Europe. We will pass through the old town and see the city hall that gives a Renaissance Baroque style and was the seat of the Republicans during the Civil War and the Valencian silk exchange Lonja de la Seda is a building of late Valencian Gothic style which UNESCO declared a World Heritage Site in 1996. Then we will see the Palace of the Marques de dos Aguas, today a ceramics museum with its magnificent alabaster facade. We will also walk through the market with the old stock exchange and end up at the cathedral with the Mikelet tower, considered a symbol of the city. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 5: VALENCIA – MADRID

After breakfast we depart for the capital of Spain, Madrid, arriving early in the afternoon and departing directly for a first introduction to the city through a panoramic tour with our bus. With stops for photos at places such as Plaza Castilla with its twin curved towers (Puerta de Europa), the Madrid bullring (Plaza de Toros Las Ventas), the largest in the country. As well as a walk in the largest natural lung in the city center, the Retiro Park, where we will see the artificial lake and the Glass Palace (Palacio de Crystal), then we will visit the Atocha Station. Arrival and check-in at the hotel, some time to rest and then we start for a walk in the historic center Puerta del Sol, Barrio de las Letras, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel and free time.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart on foot for the Prado Museum. We will pass through Plaza Colon, Paseo de Recoletos, and Plaza de Cibeles with the Bank of Spain and the City Hall and through Paseo del Prado to arrive at the museum. The Prado Museum is one of the most important art galleries in the world with a multitude of famous works that we would need whole days to be able to see them, in the 1 hour and 35 minutes that we are given to do our scheduled tour with an official guide we will enjoy mainly works from the Spanish School by El Greco, Velazquez and Goya as well as some paintings from the Venetian School such as Tintoretto or the Flemish School such as Rubens. We will also have an hour free here to be able to see other works or visit the museum shop. Then we have our optional excursion to medieval Segovia, where we will walk through its streets, see the 2,000-year-old Roman Aqueduct, the Plaza Mayor, the Alcazar de Segovia Castle-Palace and we will have the opportunity to try local restaurants, dishes such as cochinillo (baby pig) or try the local dessert Ponche Segoviano. Return to Madrid in the afternoon. For the excursion to take place, a minimum of 15 participants are needed and the cost per person is €50. Overnight stay
Day 7: MADRID - TOLEDO

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Toledo, the old capital of Spain. Upon arrival, we will first take a panoramic bus ride around the city and stop at a point from above to take photos, and Toledo will appear to us like a bride showing off her wedding dress. Then we will head to the branch of the Damask and Swords factory, i.e. the two most characteristic examples of Toledo art. Then we will begin to walk from one end to the other, the entire old city. We will stop to visit the vestibule of the church of Saint Thomas, where El Greco's masterpiece, The Burial of the Count of Orgatz, is located. Then we will go to visit the most beautiful Cathedral in Western Europe, the Cathedral of Toledo. In addition to the temple, we will be able to see works by El Greco who lived and worked in Toledo, and not only... Later free time and return to Madrid. For the evening, so that Madrid can close beautifully, we suggest a Flamenco show!!! Overnight stay
Day 8: MADRID – ATHENS
