Transfer to the city center for our panoramic tour of its most beautiful sights. Our first stop is Trocadero (stop 20-30 minutes) where we will have the opportunity to photograph the absolute Star of the city, the Eiffel Tower, the most recognizable monument in the world. We continue with the largest triumphal Arch in the world, the Arc de Triomphe (ARC DE TRIOMPHE), the famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées and an avenue of pride for the French Republic, the Grand Palais and Petit Palais, art exhibition spaces of unique architectural aesthetics, followed by the most impressive bridge of Alexander III, the imposing Hôtel des Invalides, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French parliament (National Assembly). We continue with the Place de la Concorde (Omonoia Square), the old royal garden today known as the Kerameikos garden, the Orsay Museum, the aristocratic Place Vendome and the famous Ritz Hotel, the impressive Opera Garnier, the Louvre Museum and the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in the city. We will cross the islet of Cité, the historic center, since that is where the city was essentially born, to approach the most famous cathedral in the world, Notre Dame de Paris, which we will see from the outside.
Moving on, we will see the Latin Quarter neighborhood, the historic Sorbonne University and the Luxembourg Gardens – an oasis of mental and physical upliftment with its awesome fountains and statues, as well as the homonymous palace of Marie de Medici. Next is the Pantheon, necropolis of important personalities of the country such as Victor Hugo, the artistic district of Saint-Germain with the famous cafes les Deux magots and café de Flor, the Saint-Sulpice Square and the School of Fine Arts. Transfer and check-in at the hotel and free time, overnight.
2nd DAY LOUVRE – PALAIS ROYAL – FRAGONARD PERFUME MUSEUM – (SEIQUE CRUISE, MONTMARTRE)
Breakfast and departure for the most famous museum in the world, the Louvre. It is no coincidence that it is called "The World Temple of Art". With our official Greek-speaking tour guide we will wander through the magical spaces of this old palace and admire its treasures. We will follow her on a journey of exploration, a journey through time and human creation. Of course, a major stop on this visit will be the Greek wing, the pillar of the museum, with the two Greek Stars, the Victory of Samothrace and the Aphrodite of Milos, but also the section of the Parthenon frieze with the Ergasthinas and the metopes from the sanctuary of ancient Olympia. We continue to the neighboring wing with the Mona Lisa, and other works of art that are milestones in the evolution of the Italian Renaissance. We will also focus on the masterpieces of French painting by 18th and 19th century painters that "illuminate" the large galleries of the museum. After the end of our tour, we will take a unique walk in the square of the Palais Royal and have our coffee at the famous cafe le Nemours where scenes from the movie "The Tourist" with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp were filmed, but mainly the cafe where the world of theater and fashion meet. After our short break, we will continue our walk to the elegant Place Edouard VII, which will certainly impress us with its elaborate construction. This is followed by an "aromatic" journey, accompanied by a historical retrospective, to the leading perfume museum of the Fragonard house. Free time, optional lunch in one of the beautiful bistros in the area and return to the hotel on your own to rest.
Optionally, come and join us for a unique cruise on the Seine with the famous mousse boats for a taste of illuminated Paris as well as a visit to the picturesque hill of Montmartre with the unique Sacre Coeur and the open-air painters.
3rd DAY PARIS - DISNEYLAND
Breakfast and departure for the largest theme park in Europe, Disneyland Paris.
It is located 32 km from Paris and consists of two parks, Disneyland Theme Park and Walt Disney Studios and a shopping area, Disney Village. The theme parks are known for their robotic-Animated characters present in the space, their attention to detail and their mentality for serving visitors. The goal is to fully recreate the magic associated with the reputation and name of Disney. Your Leader will make suggestions to better organize your time between the world of Pirates, Fantasy, exploration and a trip to space with the heroes of Star Wars. Live in the era of the Far West with riverboats and canyons, visit the pirate island with hidden treasures and mythical bazaars, the magical world of Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio and Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Travel to the VISIONARIUM with Jules Verne and take a risk on a journey among meteorites and spaceships on the STAR TOUR. Visit the Metro Golden studios and live the unique experience of shooting a film as an extra.
Return to Paris late in the afternoon with a wealth of impressions. In the evening, take a stroll along the Champs Elysées, with its beautiful cafes, picturesque bistros and restaurants, and luxurious shops.
4th DAY PARIS – (NORMANDY)
Breakfast and free day in the French capital where you can use it as you see fit. Take advantage of the ideal location of your hotel and do your shopping at the famous department stores Gallerries Lafayette and Printemps. Grab your coffee from Café de la Paix and walk around the Opera Garnier and Avenue Capucines. For chocolate lovers, we recommend exploring the Musee du chocolat, located in the same area of the grand boulevards. We also recommend a visit to the Place de la Bastille, where the New Opera dominates, the Place des Vosges and the house of Victor Hugo, and certainly the funkiest area of Paris, the Marais, with the most sought-after boutiques (all the big houses are here!!!), with the Carnavalet city history museum and the Pompidou modern art museum. Alternatively, choose an optional getaway to the northwest coastline, in the magnificent Normandy, a piece of the French hinterland that is a real revelation for the visitor. We will start with the first destination Deauville (Deauville), a city lazily spread out on the Atlantic coast, and continue with the medieval village of Honfleur where on the way we will see Trouville and enjoy the lush nature of Normandy.
